About Me

My best companion is Arnie the greyhound, whom I adopted from the Massachusetts Humane Society in February 2007. Arnie ran his last race on October 11, 2006; since then he's been enjoying retirement hiking trails, parks and beaches around Norfolk and Plymouth counties, making friends and educating folks about the wonders of being a greyhound on retirement!

Arnie will turn 12 (human years) on August 17, 2013.

UPDATE:  Arnie went over the rainbow bridge December 6, 2013.

Sorry to hear about Arnie. He was such a sweet gentle boy. It's sad to think we won't be seeing his cute little vibrating muzzle anymore. But he was well loved and enjoyed his senior years I'm sure.

We were at the park saturday afternoon. Was such a nice day. Maybe we'll come by around 10am this coming Saturday if it's not too chilly

I am seeking a vet to care for my greyhound, Arnie, whose rear legs are failing him resulting in him falling when climbing four stairs into our house, plus he has arthritis all over. I moved to Randolph in March 2012, and continued to take Arnie to Roberts Animal Hosp in Hanover. The ride is now much too long to take him there. I am hoping that the gentleman I've heard many people tell me about who has five (?) greyhounds might be a member of this group and would be willing to share with me where he takes his greyhound for care.

How is the Randolph Dog Park for Arnie, and you?
